About AI Token Cost.
You may have read news stories about exploding AI costs when users are given access to Claude or other leading foundation models to help them do things like develop software applications or create content. Our experience, supported by feedback from Maxley users, is that’s not happening for Maxley usage.
The range of use cases for Maxley is much more bounded: users ask for guidance and analysis related to Maximo and their job function. The token cost for those kinds of requests is typically very low. In fact, we’d argue it may be the highest ROI you can achieve if it helps your employees make better decisions, solve problems more quickly, and avoid mistakes – all for what may amount to the price of a cup of coffee per day.
- Pay for actual AI usage: We don’t markup your token cost.
- AI usage logging: AI usage is logged in the Maxley Chat Log application in MAS. This includes token count and cost for each user conversation.
- AI usage controls available: You can set a spend cap per day/week/month plus iteration and timeout limits per conversation.
